The Ministry Management System (MMS) is a database driven application designed to meet church ministry needs for organizational efficiency and productivity. It provides an online Joomla application facility to showcase various church ministry groups, as well as provide contact information of those ministry groups. This application is an effective organizational and member service tool for church website owners to deploy on the World Wide Web. Not only does it offer a simple and practical way to showcase ministry groups, it also provides an easy to run and user-friendly church management tool behind your Joomla website. As an excellent management tool for ministry groups, the MMS enables the church to track membership statistical profile and interpersonal awareness. It also enables the church to seek and process new members. This user-friendly Joomla component allows the MMS administrator to create, add, update and delete ministry group names, contact information and any other related profile seamlessly organized in a database management system. The system has no limitation in the number of ministries that can be created. It can be further configured and customized to suit the owning church organization’s specific requirements for unique database field identifiers. The main MMS page consists of a table indicating the name of the ministry, the contact person as well as a contact phone number. If a visitor wants to receive more information about a particular ministry they can drill down on any specific information such as the name and they are taken to a separate page that displays the full data set. This includes full name, phone number, reports to and an email address. Also included in the MMS application is a ministry enquiry form that can be launched from the main Joomla page menu. It will route the visitor to a new page containing name, address, telephone, email and comments. This Joomla form is designed to help the administrator spend less time with customer support by including all necessary information and getting straight to the point.
